Longview House

Deep energy retrofit of 1950's ranch house. We rebuilt 90% of the house to create a stunning zero energy ready home. Inspired by Scandinavian architecture, this house was completely rebuilt using the Passive House Institute standards. These standards include an airtight house (0.5ACH), continuous exterior insulation on the walls and roof to eliminate thermal bridging, triple pane tilt turn windows, and a whole house ERV ventilation system to provide continuous fresh air throughout the house. These changes make the house efficient to operate and most importantly incredibly comfortable and healthy to live in!
